BridgeTech’s Role:

BRASS-PIER(LRFD)^TM is a computer program developed to assist in the analysis and design of reinforced concrete piers for bridges. BRASS-PIER(LRFD)™ presently consists of the following components:

Deck analysis and loading.
Pier cap analysis and design.
Ultimate strength analysis and design of concrete columns.
Footing analysis and design for spread footings and pile caps.

The program reports in-depth specification checks for the various portions of a pier analysis. Graphical results and a custom report writer are available.
